Building Blocks
We offer in-clinic services for Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for children on the autism spectrum and/or with other developmental needs and challenges. Our highly trained staff is driven towards achieving the individual goals for each child we serve.
At Building Blocks, we rely on research backed approaches and strive for all team members, (including parents, teachers, ABA, Occupational, and Speech therapists), to work together towards the common goal of improving a child’s success and independence through collaboration and the common goal for each child to reach his/her full potential.

AMAZING FACILITES
Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy has over 4600 sq ft of both individual therapy rooms and an open gym featuring gross motor play equipment as well as group table space for fine motor activity too.
Spaces to jump, climb, crawl and slide give children here at Building Blocks ample room to express their energy, develop muscle tone and work on skills related to peer interaction.

A HISTORY OF CARE
our history
As the owners of Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy, Jacob and Chelsea Schmidt had a desire to reach and serve children to help them grow and develop to their fullest potential. Chelsea is a Registered Occupational Therapist and previously worked with children both within the pediatric clinic setting and in the organized school system. A desire to reach more children and expand their ability to grow through multi-disciplinary systems working together started as a dream and became a reality when Building Blocks opened its doors in 2019 with Speech and Language Pathology services and Occupational Therapy services. Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy services began at Building Blocks shortly after in 2020. With all three of these disciplines working together, each child’s services can be coordinated to achieve their best outcomes.
